This browser-based utility allows you to watermark your PNG files. You can add a watermark with a caption, label, subtitles, or arbitrary text (adding your logo or signature as a watermark is coming soon). Marking your PNG images with a watermark before you upload them to the Internet will protect them from easily being copied and used by third parties without your approval. You can customize the watermark and choose any color for it and make it any size. You can also control the transparency level of the watermark. To create a watermark that repeats the same text multiple times and goes over the entire PNG, copy and paste the text in the options as many times as you need it to be duplicated. The position of the watermark is controlled using the coordinates x, y, and the dimensions width, and height. Alternatively, you can align the watermark with your mouse by moving it around in the input PNG field. There are two colors you can set – the color for the text or symbols and the color for the background. The opacity can be increased or reduced by the slider in the color palette that's attached to the color option. Additionally, you can choose the text font you like from a list of default fonts or load a unique style font from a URL. In this example, we add a watermark with the name of the camera which was used to take the photo. We enter the desired label "Samsung Galaxy S10e" in the options, choose the color "honeydew" for it, and make its background translucent. We put the watermark at the position (400, 350) and leave its dimensions blank, which makes the program automatically set the height and width of the watermark to the remaining available space in the lower right corner of the photo. In this example, we add a copyright watermark to a PNG image of a ginger cat. We write the word "copyright" in the options and repeat it 16 times so that it occupies the entire area of the image. We use the monospace font for the copyright message, set its size to 58 pixels, and print the letters in white color with 80% transparency. We also add a black shadow to the letters, using the shadow format "5px 5px 5px black". (Source: Pexels.)
This example puts a sample watermark on a PNG. The sample text says "DO NOT COPY" and it's repeated continuously all over the PNG. The PNG itself is completely transparent and has a size of 320-by-320 pixels. The watermark is 40 pixels in size, it's 70% transparent (or just 30% visible), and it uses a unique font imported from a URL.
