This browser-based program converts a sequence of hex codes representing pixel colors to PNG images. It can visualize on the screen a set of hexadecimal data that has been used for analysis, editing, storage, or transmission of images. A sequence of hex codes can have an RGB (red, green, blue) format, for example, "#ff0000 #008000 #0000ff". Alternatively, the hex codes can have transparency information, RGBA (red, green, blue, alpha/transparency), for example "#ff0000ff #008000ff #0000ffff". Hex codes can also not use the hash symbol, have a shortened format, a separator symbol, or quotation marks, for example "'f00', '008000', '00f'". If you have such a set of characters, or you received it from the convert PNG to hex program, you can insert it into the input and get a PNG on the output. The main feature of hex data is its division into lines, the length of which corresponds to the width of the converted PNG. If the data does not have a line break, you can manually set the PNG width in the options, for example, it can be 100px, 400px, or 900px. This program can also be used to visualize the input hexadecimal codes into colorful pixels on the output canvas. For example, you can represent each hex code as a small square of the corresponding color, and also use such squares to draw beautiful ornaments. In this case, the pixel magnification option will be useful for you. It allows you to specify the scaling factor for each pixel. By default, this value is 1, which means that one hexadecimal code on the input corresponds to 1 pixel on the output. If you set the value to 2, then one hex code will correspond to a square of four pixels (2×2), if you enter the value 3, then one hexadecimal code will correspond to a square of nine pixels (3×3), and so on. The program also allows you to specify the background color that fills the output PNG in those places where missing or damaged pixel data is present. Png-abulous!

In this example, we decode hex codes that store pixel color data into a PNG image. These hex data consist of four channels (R – red, G – green, B – blue, A – alpha), which means that the PNG has transparent regions. These data also have line breaks, which means that we do not need to set the PNG width manually. Therefore, as soon as we insert the sequence of hex codes into the input, we get a PNG with headphones on the output. (Source: Wikipedia.)
This example converts a sequence of hex codes into a tiny PNG image of a penguin. The input data has a simplified format that does not contain the hash symbol and uses a shortened format for some gray colors (for example, instead of the color "#222222" we use "222", and instead of "#EEEEEE" we use "EEE"). Since the data does not have line breaks, the program uses the width specified in the options (50 pixels) and converts the hex to the penguin PNG. (Source: Wikipedia.)
In this example, we use this program to create a strawberry ornament using a set of hex codes. First, to do this, we increase the PNG's pixels by 10 times, i.e. one hex code on the input corresponds to a 10×10 square on the output. Then we draw a strawberry ornament using only four colors of hex codes.
