This browser-based tool creates square icons in PNG format. It can correct any irregular shape of an icon, add or remove space around it, and center the icon perfectly within the square. In the options, you can set the desired icon size, which will be equal to its width and height. If the size is smaller than the original width or height, the program will crop the icon to a square shape. If the size is larger than the original width or height, the program will add extra space around the icon to create a square shape. If your icon has a transparent background, you can enable the option to display dashed edges in the preview, which will help you better see the icon's boundaries. By specifying the background color of your icon in the options, the tool will align your icon exactly in the center of the image. The specified color will also be used to fill any extra areas created when enlarging the icon. If your icon has no background, you can set the background color to "transparent" or leave the option empty. Additionally, you can adjust the icon's position within the PNG image. Using positive or negative numerical values, you can shift the icon left, right, up, or down. In the options, you can also add a square border around the output icon. After enabling the checkbox, you can choose the border color from the palette and adjust its width. By default, the border is square and has no rounded corners.
