What Is a JPG to PNG Logo Converter?

This browser-based utility converts logos from JPG to PNG format. It is useful when a transparent background is needed, which JPG format does not support due to the lack of an alpha channel. Unlike JPG, PNG can save brand letters and symbols on an invisible background, making it ideal for placing logos on various backgrounds. If you want to create transparency around your logo, activate the "Enable Transparency" option. Then, specify the background color of the logo that you want to make transparent (usually white). By increasing the color threshold, you can remove various shades of the background (for example, you can remove light gray, snow, and azure colors along with white). Optimal values range from 5% to 50%. Using the edge enhancement option, you can make the edges of the logo that were in contact with the previous background semi-transparent.
