This online browser program creates transparent PNG signatures. You can easily and quickly create a digital signature (also known as an "esignature") or a branded company stamp on a transparent background. This example creates a transparent digital signature from an opaque image of William Shakespeare's signature. It automatically finds all non-transparent colors and makes them transparent. In addition to the white non-transparent tones, it also includes all grayish shades that are 40% similar to the white color. In this example, we're working with a PNG version of George W. Bush's signature written on a gray background. We click the left corner of the PNG in the preview area to select the color code of the background and delete the selected color together with 5% similar color shades. Additionally, we smooth the pixels around the edges of the signature with a radius of 1 pixel. (Source: Wikipedia.)
In this example, we remove the paper background from Thomas Edison's signature. The paper has a light blue color and we find its RGBA color code by clicking on this color in the input. As this blue color has slight light and dark variations, we also match 10% of similar tones.
