This browser-based utility increases the width of a digital signature. When a digital signature is created, it's usually extracted from a photo of a scanned handwritten signature and its background is removed. Often, the resulting signature is thin and poorly visible. This program will help convert a thin signature into a bolder and better visible signature that can be used in Word and PDF documents. To do it, just upload a transparent PNG signature to the input of this tool and specify the thickness for the new signature (in pixels, for example, 1px, 2px, etc). The program automatically detects the signature's color and adds extra pixels of the same shade around existing ink pixels. If your signature contains the letters "o", "e", "q", "p", "a", "d", "g", "b", then the checkbox "Add Outer Thickness" may be useful to you. This option makes it so that the boldness is added only to the outer edges of the letters and the mentioned letters with holes aren't filled on the inside. Also, the program has an option for smoothing the new pixels that get added around the signature.
