This online tool makes a PNG more spacious by adding extra space around its edges. In the options, you can choose which edges to add space to – left, right, top, or bottom. You can add space to all edges at once or just some selected edges. In the options, you can select which edges to activate. You can also adjust the amount of extra space added to a PNG. The extra space is measured in pixels. For example, if your PNG has the dimensions of 800x500 pixels, then you can add 100px to the top (or bottom) and make it 800x600 pixels. You can also adjust the fill color of this space. By default, it is transparent but you can make it opaque by specifying the color's name, such as "white", "#000000", "RGB (0, 128, 0)", or make it semi-transparent by adjusting the alpha channel slider in the color palette next to the color option. In this example, we add empty, transparent space around a PNG to make it more spacious. The original PNG has a transparent background, so we also chose a transparent fill color for the extra space. In this example, we expanded the canvas of a PNG image by adding a large amount of space to just one of its sides. Inspired by the autumn weather, we decided to write a poem next to a beautiful autumn photo. To do this, we added 440 pixels of space to the right side of the PNG and filled it with an antique white hue. Now there's enough space on the right to write the poem. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we increase the boundaries of a PNG by adding semi-transparent pixels around it. We select all four sides of the PNG in the options and add 40 pixels of space, with a color of rgba(208, 201, 193, 0.6), where the parameter "0.6" means it's 60% opaque, rendering the space 40% transparent.
