This browser-based utility converts any PNG image into a polaroid picture. Polaroids are photographs taken with an instant camera, which is often called the Polaroid camera. It allows you to take photos on the spot, bypassing the usual steps of developing the film and printing it on paper. The signature feature of polaroids is the white frame around a photo with additional space at the bottom for a caption. This program allows you to create an electronic version of a polaroid from any image. It wraps the given image in a white frame and optionally adds a custom caption that you can enter in the options. You can specify the desired width and height of the polaroid in the options and create a horizontal or vertical polaroid. Additionally, you can adjust the width of the frame on the thin side (for the left, right, and top sides) and specify the height of the bottom area (where you can add custom text or caption). As the polaroid that you're creating is virtual, we added an option to change the color of the frame. By default, the frame is white but you can also make it pink, black, or any other color. Another option lets you turn the photo in the polaroid to grayscale. You can also adjust the caption size and choose its position (left side, right side, or center). Another useful option lets you choose the caption font (or add a custom one using a URL), adjust the text color, and make the characters italic or bold. If you leave the caption empty, then the caption area will be left empty and no text will be added. Png-abulous!

In this example, we load a PNG image of a girl in a lavender field and turn it into a polaroid. We add a white 15-px border on the sides and a 50-px spacer at the bottom for the text. We add the caption "July 2022" to remind us the date of this unforgettable moment. (Source: Pexels.)
We wanted to decorate our room with beautiful polaroids from our trip. As all the photos were taken with a modern iPhone camera, we used our program to create old-school polaroids for printing. We set the width of the polaroid to 400 pixels and the height to 300 pixels to create a landscape-oriented polaroid. We also added a white 10-pixel border to the polaroid and wrote a romantic caption "Snow dream..." in the beautiful steel-blue Papyrus font. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we wrap a PNG of our beloved dog in a polaroid. We use a soft misty-rose color frame that matches the color of the sakura tree in the background and caption the photo as "My Love". For the caption, we choose the prettiest Google font "Pacifico" and load it using the font URL (after selecting the custom font mode). (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we activate the option "Grayscale Polaroid" and convert a multi-color PNG picture of a house to a black-and-white polaroid. We add the white border around the PNG and leave the polaroid without a signature. We set the picture dimensions to 330 by 300, add 20 pixels to the top, left, and right sides, and 50 pixels to the bottom. Thus, we get a square-shaped polaroid of size 370 by 370 pixels. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we create a polaroid of good memories. We add a white frame to the image and turn it into gray tones for a nostalgic atmosphere. Additionally, we sign the PNG with the "7-22-18" written in Tahoma font. (Source: Pexels.)
