This online tool generates a triadic color palette based on a single initial color you provide. A triadic color scheme, also known as a triangular color scheme, consists of three colors evenly spaced on the color wheel, forming an equilateral triangle (each color is 120° apart from the next). This results in a vibrant and contrasting color palette where all shades are visually balanced and diverse. You can set the starting hue in the main tool window by clicking on the color wheel. You can also fine-tune the color's contrast and opacity using interactive sliders (just drag them up or down). If you know the name or code (Hex, RGB, RGBA, HSL, etc.) of the color you want in the palette, you can also simply paste it into the tool options. The tool will automatically set the color's location on the color wheel and adjust the contrast and opacity sliders to match it. Once the initial color is set, the other two colors of the triad will be displayed on the wheel and included in the output palette. You can also adjust the design of the palette. Specifically, you can add a thin border around each color (for better visibility) and print the color names directly on the swatches (for easy identification). The available color formats include: Hex, RGB, RGBA, HSL, HSV, HSI, LAB, LCH, HCL, CMYK, YIQ, YCbCr, XYZ, LUV, OKLab, YCoCg, YCgCo, or a nearest English color name. You can download the generated triadic palette as a PNG image or export the full editor, including the color wheel, the three colors and their positions on the wheel, the contrast value, and the opacity value. Png-abulous!

In this example, we create a triadic palette using highly saturated and vivid colors. The base color is Aqua (also known as Cyan), which has a contrast level of 50% and full opacity of 100%. The result is a trio of pure, vibrant hues: Aqua, Fuchsia, and Yellow.
This example generates a less saturated and more muted color palette. To achieve this, we select the starting color near the center of the color wheel, where colors become more gray. Additionally, we slightly increase the contrast of the colors to 60%. As a result, three equidistant shades are generated in the palette: orchid, dark khaki, and cadet blue. We outline the colors with a thin border and use the HCL format for precise representation of each color.
This example creates a dark three-color scheme. Its base color is Indigo, which has a very low contrast value (set to 25% out of 100%). Other colors in this palette inherit the same contrast level, resulting in dark saddle brown and sea green colors. Also, the example reduces the opacity of the colors to 90% (out of 100%), making them slightly transparent (10% transparent). The final set of colors is displayed with their RGBA codes, which include alpha channel value as the last argument (equal to 0.1, which is 10%).
