In this example, we extract the chrominance red difference (Cr) channel from the YCbCr color space of a PNG image of a plant. PNG has high color saturation, so the visualization of the Cr channel is clearly visible. In it you can see that the green leaves of the plant completely lack a red tint, which is why the pixels on the leaves are displayed in green. Instead, flower petals contain information about the red hue, so these pixels are displayed in red on the screen. (Source: Pexels.)
