This tool creates rectangular stamps with a customizable imprint and design. Rectangular stamps are convenient to use because of their simple structure, which ensures the message on the stamp is centered within the rectangle and is clearly visible. This tool supports stamp messages of any length as the stamp can be adjusted to fit the width of any text. The message can be one symbol, one word, multiple words, and even emojis. Unlike circular stamps, where the message goes along a curve, in rectangular stamps, it's displayed horizontally, making it much easier to read. Moreover, this stamp shape efficiently utilizes space, making it suitable for applying on rectangular or square objects, such as cards, boxes, and labels. Popular use cases of this tool include creating rectangular stamps for official documents (e.g., to authenticate or validate a document), for marking products and packaging (e.g., adding serial numbers or production dates), or for decorative purposes (e.g., designing postcards or embellishing gift wraps). For each purpose, you can select the stamp's shape in the tool options. Shape choices include a simple rectangular stamp (or a square if the width equals the height), a stamp with two horizontal parallel lines (top and bottom borders), a stamp with rounded corners, a ticket-shaped stamp, or a stamp with diagonally-opposing angled corner markers. You can enter the main message (imprint) to be displayed on the stamp in the tool options. You can also set its size, and adjust the stamp's width and height accordingly so that the message fits the design. You can then modify the border width and, if needed, add padding around the stamp to prevent it from touching the edge of the rubber mold. Padding also helps make sure that nothing gets cut off when the stamp is made. For digital stamp designs, you can mimic a realistic stamp impression by adjusting the imprint clarity. By setting the clarity option to a value lower than 100%, you'll create a stamp with missing ink spots for a worn-out effect. For certain stamp designs, there is also an option to fill the rectangle. If you have selected a closed rectangle shape, such as a simple rectangle, a rectangle with rounded corners, or a ticket-shaped rectangle, you can fill it with a solid color. In this mode, all other elements on the stamp will be inverted. Additionally, you can choose from various border pattern styles. By default, the borders are solid, but you can also select wavy, spiky, or star-shaped patterns. If needed, you can add a smaller secondary message to the stamp, enable double borders, and include extra decorative elements like stars and lines. You can also specify the stamp's rotation angle in degrees, allowing the stamp to be positioned at the desired tilt. The color palette of the stamp can be fully customized via color options, allowing you to individually set the border color, message color, decoration color, and background color. You can also set the PNG stamp's opacity. By default, it's set to 100%, meaning the stamp is fully visible, but by setting it to a lower value, you can make the stamp more transparent. For both the main message and the sub-message, you can select the font you like the most. The message font choices include various system fonts, such as Verdana, Robot, and Helvetica, and there's an option to import a custom font via a URL (which is activated in the custom font mode). You can also change the message and sub-message styles individually, by selecting regular, bold, or italic styles. Png-abulous!

In this example, we generate a transparent square stamp in PNG format with the message "VOID" on a transparent background. To make sure the stamp is highly visible on any document that it's printed on, we use a deep red color and a thick 40-pixel border. The stamp has a simple shape with minimal decorations (only stars are added) and features easily readable text in Verdana font. To make this digital PNG stamp resembles an impression of a physical rubber stamp, we set its quality to 60%, which creates many missing ink spots.
In this example, we create a rectangular quality control seal for marking inspected products and packages. It has a filled style and includes two lines of text – the main message displays: "INSPECTED", while the secondary sub-message provides the inspection date: "Date: 03/24/2025". To clearly indicate that the item has passed inspection, we paint the seal green. To make sure it doesn't obscure other labels and text on the product packaging, we make it slightly transparent by setting translucency level to 80%. We use the Tahoma font for the main message, embellish the stamp with stars and lines, and rotate it by 10 degrees counterclockwise.
In this example, we design a rectangular stamp with unconventional color-rich design used for personal branding. It features multiple horizontal decorative patterns of stars and lines and messages in custom text font in the center. The font is called Norican and it's loaded via a URL in custom font mode. The stamp also uses bright and unique colors. In particular, Deep Slate Blue color for the border, Bright Tomato Red color for the text, and Golden Amber color for the decorations. This stamp is perfect for small businesses and artists who want to highlight the uniqueness of their products and show that they are handmade.
