What Is an ASCII Art to PNG Converter?

This tool converts ASCII art drawings into PNG images. ASCII art uses ordinary text characters to form recognizable pictures, patterns, logos, objects, faces, and other illustrations, and this converter gives those character-based designs a graphical PNG representation. You can create a color palette for the characters that appear in the artwork, making selected symbols visible in different colors or leaving them transparent. For example, dense characters can be used for dark parts of the drawing, lighter characters for details, and spaces or dots for transparent regions. The converter keeps the original rows of the ASCII art. If there are no line breaks, you can set a line length to create the rows automatically. Convert a Trophy ASCII Art to PNG

In this example, we convert an ASCII drawing of a first-place trophy into a PNG image. Hash signs form the dark outline, while colons draw the number one in the center. The other ASCII characters use yellow, gold, and orange shades of the trophy. Spaces become the default background color. We enlarge each character to a 6×6-pixel cell and add 8 pixels of padding. Draw a Baby Penguin from ASCII Symbols
