This browser-based program transforms a single PNG into a composition of tiles. It creates multiple PNG tiles, arranges them in a grid, and produces a repeating pattern. In the options, you can specify the total number of PNG tiles to generate. You can enter both whole and fractional values: for example, an input of "6.5" will result in six full-sized tiles and one partial tile, which will be cropped to half the size of the original PNG. Next, you can choose how the tiles are arranged. When using a row-based layout, the tool first fills the specified number of rows and automatically calculates the required number of columns. Conversely, when using a column-based layout, it fills the specified number of columns and automatically determines the number of rows. With the "Trim Incomplete Tile" option, you can remove any empty space that appears in a row or column due to a partially filled PNG tile. In other areas where the canvas is not covered by a tile, you can choose a background color to fill the empty space (the default is transparent). The "Tile Scale" option allows you to adjust the size of each PNG tile. A value of "100%" keeps the original PNG size, while lower values, such as "75%" or "50%", proportionally reduce the tile size. This is useful for decreasing the final PNG's file size, especially when generating a large number of tiles. Png-abulous!

In this example, we generate a tile pattern from a PNG photograph of a person surfing. We set the total PNG tiles to 12 and organize them using the row-based layout with 4 rows. This automatically creates a dense 3×4 grid that completely fills the output canvas. The resulting tiled image can be used as decorative wallpaper featuring bright surfing memories. (Source: Pexels.)
This example transforms a bright PNG featuring bananas and dragon fruit into a large tiled pattern made of 59 PNG tiles. The grid is formed by 10 columns, and the tool automatically calculates that 6 rows are needed for a full grid (10×6=60). Since only 59 tiles are generated, one tile space remains empty, revealing the canvas, which is filled with a gold color. To keep the final tiled image compact, we apply a scaling percentage of 20%, effectively reducing the size of each original PNG tile by 80%. (Source: Pexels.)
In this example, we create a one-dimensional PNG tile layout with a fractional tile count. The PNG of an oroblanco slice is tiled 3.4 times in a single column. The image repeats three times at full size, followed by a fourth tile cropped to 40% of its height. The canvas background is transparent, and the tool trims the unused space below the partial tile, resulting in a clean, vertically stacked composition. (Source: Pexels.)
